BNSF Railway to Conduct Repairs at Norris Street Crossing

CLOVIS, NM (March 21, 2024) –  BNSF Railway will be conducting repairs to the tracks at the Norris Street crossing starting Friday, March 22, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. The repairs are expected to continue until 4:00 P.M. on the same day.

During this time, repairs will be made to the Northbound outside lane and Southbound outside lane of the Norris Street crossing. Motorists need to follow all traffic control devices and consider the crossing closure when planning their commute for the day.

The City of Clovis urges residents and commuters to plan alternate routes and allow for extra travel time to accommodate potential delays caused by the repairs. Additionally, motorists are reminded to exercise caution and adhere to all posted speed limits and construction zone regulations in the vicinity of the Norris Street crossing.
