The City of Clovis Opens Summer Youth Program Registration on April 15 

CLOVIS, NM (April 11, 2024) –  The City of Clovis is thrilled to announce the opening of registration for its highly anticipated Summer Youth Program, commencing on April 15, 2024. Now in its third successful year, the program aims to provide local youth aged 5 to 11 with enriching opportunities to engage with the outdoors and deepen their understanding of the environment.

Scheduled to run from June 3 to July 26, 2024, the Summer Youth Program will take place at the Youth Recreation Building situated at 1504 E 7th St, Clovis, NM 88101. Hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a convenient 30-minute drop-off and pick-up window available before and after the program each day.

Supported by the New Mexico Outdoor Equity Fund and the City of Clovis, this year’s program promises an exciting array of activities, educational experiences, and field trips designed to foster personal growth, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

To ensure the well-being and enjoyment of every participant, daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided, courtesy of the program. Additionally, a series of field trips will be organized throughout the summer, offering participants the chance to explore the diverse landscapes and attractions of Clovis and its surrounding areas.

Registration for the 2024 Summer Youth Program opens on April 15, 2024, and interested participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
