VOTING DATES, TIMES AND LOCATIONS FOR 2014 CITY OF CLOVIS MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Absentee voting begins January 26th.
Voters can call Ms. Leighann Melancon, Clovis City Clerk at (575) 763-9632, to request a ballot. Voters may also come to City Hall, located at 321 N. Connelly Street, Clovis, and cast their ballots in person on paper beginning Tuesday, January 26th, 2016.
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 at 5 pm is the last day to register to vote or to update address information to be eligible to vote on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016.
Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 is the first day to early vote at City Hall. Friday, February 29th, 2016 is the last day to early vote and the last day the City Clerk can mail an absentee ballot to a voter.
The municipal elections will be held from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1st, 2016. Any Clovis voter may vote at any voter convenience center in the city. The district map Commission Districts shows the four districts and the location of the 5 voter convenience centers which are as follows:-
Colonial Golf Course, 1300 Colonial Parkway
Youth Recreation Building, 1504 E 7th
Roy Walker Community Center, 316 W. 2nd Street
Trinity United Methodist Church, 1320 W 21st Street
Clovis Fire Station #5, 220 E. Brady
While a paper copy of your voter registration is not required, should you have this or your voting identification available, it will assist in expediting the voting process.
