TOWN HALL ON CLOVIS CITY PARKS PLAN SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2015
The City of Clovis would like to invite Clovis area residents to a town hall at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29th, 2015 at the Clovis Civic Center. The facilitator for the town hall will be Consensus Planning who is assisting the city in the preparation of a ten year parks plan.
“Hearing the thoughts of area residents as to what they think of our parks and what they would like to see the City do with the parks and recreation programs over the next ten years is really important,” advised Parks Chairman Commissioner Fidel Madrid. “We would like to encourage as many people as possible to attend the town hall to share their thoughts regarding parks, including the Hillcrest Park area.”
To date the City of Clovis has received more than 700 responses to the parks survey.
