Mayor Morris Sworn into Office 3/30/2020

Clovis Mayor Michael Morris was sworn in as Clovis’ mayor Monday afternoon at Clovis City Hall while practicing social distancing with only five in attendance, and Clovis area residents watching the event which was live streamed on Facebook. District Judge Matthew Chandler officiated over the Oath of Office, as Mayor Morris’ wife, Sarah held the Bible. Former Mayor David Lansford congratulated Mayor Morris and presented him with a gavel.
