City of Clovis to Host Holiday Yard of the Month Contest

CLOVIS, NM (December 6, 2023) – The City of Clovis is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023 Holiday Yard of the Month contest, a festive initiative aimed at celebrating the creativity and holiday spirit of residents through outstanding outdoor decorations.

Nominations are now open for the Holiday Yard of the Month, and the City invites residents to showcase their festive spirit by nominating themselves or their neighbors. Two residences from each of the four commission districts, totaling eight residences, will be selected as the contest winners.

To submit a nomination, please visit www.cityofclovis.org/yard-of-the-month or find the link on the City’s Facebook page at the City of Clovis, NM (City Government) or www.facebook.com/cityofclovis. The nomination period will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Starting Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the public is encouraged to vote for their favorite holiday outdoor decorations through an online survey. The Holiday Yard of the Month contest winners will be announced on Facebook on the evening of Friday, December 29, 2023.

In addition to online recognition, the winning residences will be honored at the commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, spread joy, and acknowledge the efforts of fellow residents in making Clovis shine bright during the holiday season.
