City of Clovis Selected for a Chance to Win a 2021 PetSafe Bark for Your Park Grant

The City of Clovis has been selected as a finalist for the PetSafe® Bark for your Park™ contest that will help to build a second dog park in Clovis. The community must vote for Clovis in order to win the grant.

Clovis is one of 30 finalists remaining in the contest, and the 10 communities that receive the most votes will receive funding. Five communities with the highest votes will receive $25,000.00 for the construction of a new dog park, and five will be awarded $5,000.00 to enhance their local dog park. Establish a second dog park in Clovis to better serve local area residents and their furry friends.

Beginning today, August 3rd, and extending until August 31st, members of the public may submit their votes for the PetSafe® Bark for your Park™ contest at https://barkforyourpark.petsafe.com/locations/clovis-nm or by accessing the link at www.cityofclovis.org. Individuals can vote once per day, every day until the contest ends.

“This contest is a great opportunity to get the community involved in the process of establishing a new dog park in Clovis,” commented Parks and Recreation Director Russell Hooper. “An additional location will create more opportunities for residents and visitors to engage in the outdoors with their pets.”
