City of Clovis, NM Upcoming Construction and Utility Work

CLOVIS, NM (January 22, 2024) – Please be advised that there will be upcoming construction and utility work taking place throughout this week. The City of Clovis appreciates your understanding and cooperation as GE Construction and Xcel work to enhance and maintain the infrastructure of our community.

The City of Clovis and Xcel Energy will be resetting the meter pole at 21st and Mitchell at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 25th.  The signal will be dark and stop signs will be in place for approximately four hours.  Should you have any questions please contact Kevin Musick at Public Works (575) 769-2376.

GE Construction will be closing 14th Street from Merriweather to Connelly Street from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25th, 2024.  GE Communications will be placing fiber optics for Plateau Telecommunications.  The public is asked to please adhere to all traffic signs.
