City of Clovis and PRMC to Suspend Daily COVID-19 Hospital Updates

City of Clovis and PRMC to Suspend Daily COVID-19 Hospital Updates

In response to Curry County entering the Green Level of the state’s coronavirus framework, the City of Clovis and Plains Regional Medical Center (PRMC) are suspending the daily reports regarding COVID-19 hospital numbers. In recent weeks, local hospital numbers have greatly declined, with some days reporting zero hospitalized COVID-19 patients. These low numbers are largely in response to the increased effort of the Clovis community to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The City would like to thank PRMC and Hospital Administrator Jorge Cruz for providing daily hospital numbers to better inform the public about COVID-19.

As Curry County further opens under the guidelines of the Green Level, the public is encouraged to continue to follow current COVID-safe practices and to register for the COVID-19 vaccine at vaccinenm.org. Getting vaccinated is a crucial step to further open the Clovis community, and together we can move Curry County to the Turquoise Level and then out of the coronavirus pandemic.
