Animal Shelter Fees

Adoption Fee: Dog $215 / Cat $115 (Cash/Credit Card)

Adoption for Dogs & Cats

The adoption of the animal (dog $215/Cat $115) includes: parvo & distemper vaccinations, microchipping, check-up rabies vaccination and sterilization, pet license and current vaccinations.

Redemption of Recovered Stray Animals

$70.00 for first day $5.00 every additional day Fee may vary based upon sterlization, Rabies vaccines, and number of days in the shelter. Other fees may apply.

Turn-In Fee For Animals Outside of Clovis City Limits

$6.50 (Cash only) per animal An identification card with photograph containing the holder’s current address is required to turn-in any animal at the shelter.
Only animals from Curry County, New Mexico will be accepted at the shelter.1
