RIBBON CUTTING FOR CITY OF CLOVIS HILLCREST PARK PAR 3 COURSE SCHEDULED
Clovis area residents are invited to attend a ribbon cutting at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12th, 2016 for the newly renovated City of Clovis Par 3 golf course located in the southeast portion of Hillcrest Park.
The City’s Parks, Recreation & Beautification Committee studied the area and determined synthetic greens would be the best option for improving the Par 3 greens due to its durability and low maintenance. These specialized synthetic greens are designed to replicate real grass greens and have an 8 year warranty.
“The improved Par 3 course will not only provide a great area for young and inexperienced golfers to learn the game but will also be a good place for experienced golfers to practice their short game,” advised Clovis’ Parks & Recreation Director Mark Dayhoff, Tuesday.
