Working closely with all of the City of Clovis Departments, this division applies sound public procurement policies for the procurement of construction, goods, and services. We issue both Competitive Sealed Bids and Competitive Sealed Proposals.

The City of Clovis has adopted the State of New Mexico Procurement Code, which states, "The purposes of the Procurement Code are to provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public procurement, to maximize the purchasing value of public funds and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity."

• Solicit supplier suggestions in the determination of clear and adequate specifications and standards.
