18.30.900 Effect of approval of preliminary plat.

A. Approval of the preliminary plat will not constitute approval of the subdivision by the planning and zoning commission or by the city commission but will signify merely the general acceptability of the proposed subdivision.
B. Such approval will be considered permission to prepare the final plat, detailed plans and specifications for the proposed subdivision and for all public improvements to be constructed therein by the applicant.
C. Such approval is effective five years from the date of approval, unless the applicant is granted an extension of time, then a resubmittal fee will be required. If a final plat for a part of the subdivision has not been approved and recorded as required by the provisions of these regulations within such five year period or any extension granted thereof, the preliminary plat must be resubmitted to the Planning and zoning commission and the city commission. (Ord. 1606-99 § 2(part), 1999).
