The building inspector shall assist the planning and zoning commission with the administration of this title and shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
A. To inspect buildings, uses, developments or other activities for compliance with this title;
B. To make such investigations and written reports as the city manager and/or the city commission may direct;
C. To enforce all laws relating to the construction, alteration, repair, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures;
D. To issue such notices and orders as may be deemed necessary for the purpose of enforcing compliance with the provisions of this title and the city code. (Ord. 1495-96 § 3(part), 1996).
