In addition to any responsibility indicated in Table 17.90.310, the city commission shall have the following powers and duties under the provisions of this title:
A. To approve members of the planning and zoning commission nominated by the mayor;
B. To designate and appoint hearing officers as recommended by the city attorney and planning department staff; and
C. To take such other action not delegated to the planning and zoning commission, hearing officer, or heads of city departments, as the city commission may deem desirable and necessary to implement the provisions of the comprehensive plan and this title. (Ord. 1495-96 § 3(part), 1996).
