17.150.290 Temporary uses.

A. Christmas Tree Sales. Outdoor sale of evergreen trees during the Christmas holiday season;
B. Contractor’s Office. Watchmans’ trailers, construction equipment sheds, contractors’ trailers, and similar uses incidental to a construction project. Sleeping and/or cooking facilities may also be permitted;
C. Public Interest Event. Outdoor gatherings, auctions, art sales and bake sales for the benefit of the community, community service or nonprofit organizations;
D. Special Event. This category may include, but is not limited to, outdoor concerts, auctions, tractor pulls, carnivals, circuses, outdoor religious meetings, rodeos and special entertainment at commercial properties. Such uses often travel to various communities or involve noisy events regardless of purpose;
E. Show Homes. Residential units used as sales offices within a development or subdivision for that development. These units shall ultimately be sold for residential use. Trailers may also be used for this purpose, subject to landscaping and removal limitations approved by the planning and zoning commission;
F. Shelter. A mobile home moved onto a lot where the current single-family residential structure has been destroyed or damaged so as to be unlivable or unsafe. The shelter may be permitted for the length of time needed to replace or repair the residence, but no longer than one year;
G. Farmstand. A temporary or permanent structure or vehicle used in the sale of agricultural produce, in season, at least fifty percent of which is grown by the seller;
H. Concrete/Asphalt Batch Plant. A concrete or asphalt batch plant assembled on a site for constructing a particular road improvement, located no more than one mile from the site. This facility shall be removed within one year. (Ord. 1495-96 § 3(part), 1996).
