The planning department shall evaluate the request in light of the comprehensive plan, this title, and/or the zoning map, whichever is appropriate; may consult with the city attorney; and then shall render a written interpretation. The interpretation shall be mailed to the applicant within twenty days of receipt of a complete application. (Ord. 1495-96 § 3(part), 1996).
