17.100.130 Application completeness review.

The planning department staff shall determine, within two working days, if the application is sufficient and includes data necessary to evaluate the application.
A. If the planning department staff determines the application is incomplete or not sufficient, a written notice shall be mailed to the applicant specifying the application’s deficiencies. No further action shall be taken on the application until the deficiencies are remedied. If the applicant fails to correct the deficiencies within twenty working days, the application shall be considered withdrawn and the application fee shall be refunded.
B. When the application is deemed complete, the planning department staff shall notify the applicant and begin the requisite reviews. If a public hearing is required, the date shall be set to hear the application and the applicant notified in writing. (Ord. 1495-96 § 3(part), 1996).
