Any member of the civil aviation board may be removed from office by the mayor, with the consent of the city commission after due notice, if such member has missed three consecutive unexcused meetings or has been absent for more than fifty percent of the meetings held during any twelve month period of time. For purposes of this section, unexcused absence shall mean any absence not caused by emergency, unavoidable business or personal commitments. The determination of the other members of the civil aviation board whether an absence is excused shall be conclusive. (Ord. 1631-2000 § 2, 2000).
