Every sign for which a permit is required shall be plainly marked with the name of the owner, any lessee and the sign company erecting and maintaining the sign, and shall have affixed on the front thereof (or on some other location) an individually numbered inventory sticker, tag or token provided by the city. Replacement stickers, tags and tokens for lost and misplaced stickers, tags and tokens will be provided at no cost by the city. Also, replacement stickers, tags and tokens will be provided by the city when ownership or control of a permitted sign may occur in the event a new permit is not required.
