12.12.150 Sign illumination.

The light from any light source intended to illuminate a sign shall be shaded, shielded and directed whereby the light intensity and brightness shall not adversely affect surrounding and facing premises, or adversely affect safe vision of pedestrians and operators of vehicles moving on public and private streets, driveways and parking areas. There should be no direct glare onto adjoining properties, or in the eyes of motorists and pedestrians. (Ord. 1340-88 § 2(part), 1988).
