Chapter 12.06 STREET, ALLEY AND RIGHT-OF-WAY EXCAVATIONS
12.06.060 Traffic control.
The applicant shall take appropriate measures to assure that during the
performance of the excavation traffic and pedestrian conditions as nearly normal
as practicable shall be maintained at all times so as to cause as little
inconvenience as possible to the occupants of abutting property and to the
general public. Should the excavation require the closing of any street to all
traffic, the application for the excavation permit shall so state. The applicant
shall in every case be responsible for providing for barricades and warning
signs as required by the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic
Control Devices, Federal Highway Administration. (Ord. 1583-98 § 3(part),
