Upon the issuance of a municipal court bench warrant, the municipal court shall assess a fee of one hundred dollars against the individual whose arrest is commanded by the bench warrant. Proceeds from the warrant fee shall be distributed as follows:
A. One-half of the proceeds shall be retained by the municipal court to defray the costs of a warrant clerk and staff overtime for the issuance and processing of warrants; and
B. One-half of the proceeds shall be disbursed to the Clovis police department to defray the cost associated with processing and serving municipal court warrants. (Ord. 1804-2005 §4, 2005).
