In addition to the procedures for abatement of public nuisances, a citation or complaint may be filed by the inspection department with the municipal court. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation of the ordinance codified in this chapter continues unabated after the time specified for abatement in the notice. Any person violating this provision shall be fined not less than fifty dollars and not more than five hundred dollars. (Ord. 1646-2000 § 3(part), 2000).
