For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meaning respectfully ascribed to them by this section:
A. “Garbage” means and includes all waste food and all waste from the preparation, cooking and consumption of food and from the handling, storage and sale of food products, and carcasses of animals.
B. “Rubbish” means all trash, wastepaper, paper cartons, clothing, discarded materials, ashes, cans, bottles, materials that can become airborne when exposed to the elements, and all other waste or unwholesome materials of every kind or character not specifically referenced.
C. “Organic waste” means and includes weeds, grass, clippings, tree limbs, shrubs, limbs, tree roots, brush, wood and weeds. (Ord. 1866-2007 § 2(part), 2007: prior code §§ 10-1, 10-2).
