6.28.070 Rabid animal disposition.

When an animal under quarantine has been diagnosed as being rabid by a veterinarian, or suspected by a licensed veterinarian of being rabid, or dies while under such observation, the animal warden shall immediately cause the head of such animal to be sent to the appropriate State Department of Public Health for pathological examination, and shall notify the city manager and the district health office of the human contacts and the diagnosis made of the suspected animal.
