It shall be the duty of each person legally authorized to perform vaccinations of dogs and cats to furnish to the city clerk and to the owner of said animal a copy of the certificate of vaccination, for each animal so inoculated. Further, the veterinarian shall also give the owner of the pet a metal tag to be affixed to the collar of the animal, further attesting rabies vaccination. (Ord. 1084-77 §5(2), 1977).
