A. No person shall beat, cruelly ill-treat, torment, overload, overwork or otherwise abuse any animal, or cause or permit any dogfight, cockfight, bullfight or other combat between animals or between animals and humans.

B. No owner of an animal shall abandon such animal.

C. No person shall keep or permit to be kept on his premises any wild or vicious animal for display or for exhibition purposes. This subsection shall not be construed so as to apply to a zoological garden, theatrical exhibit or circus. (Ord. 1084-77 § 6(1)(part), 1977).
