Chapter 5.48 LABOR ORGANIZATIONS AND EMPLOYEE PROTECTION
5.48.020 Public policy.
It is the public policy of the city, in the exercise of its
home rule authority and police power and in the public interest and welfare that
all persons within the corporate boundaries of the city shall have and shall be
protected in the exercise of the right, freely and without fear of penalty or
reprisal, to form, join or assist labor organizations or to refrain from any
such activities. (Ord. 1345-89 § 2, 1989).
