Any permit holder who is found guilty of a violation of any provision of this chapter or the Pawnbrokers Act shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor. Any permit holder who violates any provision of this chapter or the Pawnbrokers Act shall be subject to having his permit revoked or suspended by the city pursuant to the provisions of Section 5.44.060. Revocation or suspension of such permit will not bar prosecution of the permit holder under the penal provision of this chapter or the Pawnbrokers Act. Criminal prosecution will not bar proceedings to revoke or suspend the holder’s permit. (Ord. 1267-85 § 13, 1985).
