Chapter 5.32 TRANSIENT SOLICITORS AND VENDORS
5.32.l30 License and permit--Denial or revocation appeal procedure.
Any person aggrieved by the action of the chief of police,
the city clerk or the city manager in the denial of an application for a permit
or license as provided in Section 5.32.050, or in the decision with reference to
the revocation of a license as provided in Section 5.32.110, shall have the
right of appeal to the city commission. Such appeal shall be taken by filing
with the commission, within fourteen days after notice of the action complained
of has been mailed to such person’s last known address, a written
statement setting forth fully the grounds for the appeal. The commission shall
set a time and place for a hearing on the appeal and notice of the hearing shall
be given to the appellant in the same manner as provided in Section 5.32.120 for
notice of hearing on revocation. The decision and order of the commission on
such appeal shall be final and conclusive. (Prior code § 6-13).
