Any person who violates this chapter or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall be subject to the penalty imposed by Section 1.24.020 of the Clovis City Code. Should any person conduct any business in violation of the provisions of this chapter, the city shall have the additional authority to:

A. Institute an appropriate action or proceeding to prevent the conduct of the business, or to restrain, correct or abate the violation of this chapter; or to prevent the occupancy of the building, structure or land on which the business is located; and

B. Bring suit in district court for the collection of any delinquent business registration fee or business license fee. (Ord. 1172-81 § 9, 1981).
