A. The membership of the advisory committee shall consist of five members appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the city commission.
B. The city manager, or his designee, shall be a permanent member of the committee and shall serve as its chairman.
C. One Clovis city commissioner, appointed by the Clovis city commission shall serve an indefinite term.
D. Three at-large members shall be residents of the city of Clovis having prior experience, training or interest in the management and/or operation of the civic center.
E. Any at-large member of the committee may be removed by the mayor, with the consent of the city commission after due notice and hearing if such member has missed three consecutive meetings or has been absent from more than fifty percent of the meetings held during any twelve-month period of time.
F. Each at-large member shall serve for a term of three years, except that one of the initial at-large terms shall be one year, which shall be determined by lot from the initial three at-large members. (Ord. 1824-2005 § 2(part), 2005).
