2.81.020 Membership-Term-Chairman.

A. The commission shall consist of the following members:
1. One commissioner from each commission district, appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the city commission;
2. The city manager;
3. The assistant city manager;
4. Four members of the public, one to be a resident of each commission district recommended by the commissioners of that district, appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the commission;
5. Police chief and fire chief shall serve as ex officio members of the committee.
B. Each member of the public shall serve for a term of two years.
C. The city manager and the assistant city manager shall serve as ex officio members.
D. The chairman shall be one of the citizen board members, selected annually by the members of the committee.
E. The vice chairman shall be one of the city commission members, selected annually by the city commission members. (Ord. 1730-2003 § 2, 2003; Ord. 1707-2002 § 2(part), 2002).
