Any voting member of the library board may be removed from office by the mayor, with the consent of the city commission after due notice if such member has missed three consecutive meetings or has been absent from fifty percent of the meetings held during any twelve month period. In the event of any removal under this section, the position becomes vacant and shall be filled as provided in Section 2.68.070. (Ord. 1478-95 § 3, 1995: prior code § 11A-6).
