A. At the first meeting of the library board, the members shall elect from its membership a president, a vice-president, a secretary, a treasurer and such other officers as may be necessary to carry out the functions of the Clovis-Carver Public Library. The term of the first officers will expire with the first regular meeting of the library board held in the month of July, 1969.
B. At the first regular meeting of the library board held in July, 1969, and annually thereafter at the first regular July board meeting, the library board will organize itself for the succeeding year by electing from its membership a president, vice president, a secretary, a treasurer and such other officers as may be necessary to carry out the functions of the Clovis-Carver Public Library. The offices of secretary and of treasurer may be held by the same person. (Prior code § 11A-5).
