The grievance board shall hear appeals, receive evidence and make decisions upholding, overruling, or modifying any action causing a grievance filed pursuant to Section 2.64.094 of the City Code. It is each grievance board member’s duty to consider the evidence presented at the hearing and base his/her decision only on that evidence. No member of the grievance board will discuss grievance matters once a formal grievance has been filed. Any member who violates this section will be disqualified from hearing the grievance and possibly recommended for removal from the grievance board. (Ord. 1579 § 3(part), 1998).
