In addition to the powers and duties of the commission granted in this title, the planning-zoning commission shall:
A. Research, review and complete studies needed for the update and revision of the Clovis comprehensive plan.
B. Evaluate policies, plans, procedures, codes, resolutions, ordinances and rules and regulations of the city relating to the Clovis comprehensive plan and the quality of life within the Clovis, New Mexico area.
C. Take action necessary to obtain from citizens, expert consultants, commissions and boards a comprehensive volume of comments and recommendations relative to the Clovis comprehensive plan.
D. Make a report to the city commission of the activities of the commission and recommendations of the commission for the amendment and/or revision of the Clovis comprehensive plan.
E. Conduct periodic meetings of the commission and public hearings and meetings as necessary to perform the duties set forth in this section.
F. Investigate and provide recommendations as directed by the city commission. (Ord. 1687-2001 § 3, 2001).
