A. There is established a parks and recreation board, consisting of seven members and two student nonvoting ex-officio members. The seven members shall be appointed by the mayor, with the consent of the city commission. One of those members must be an elected city commissioner.
B. Annually, at the March meeting of the board, a citizen member shall be elected by the membership to serve as chairman. The city commissioner member shall serve as vice-chairman.
