All citations issued pursuant to the terms of this chapter shall be numbered consecutively beginning with the number one, and no citation shall be cancelled or voided after issuance except by the municipal court. The city treasurer shall have control of and be accountable for all tags, either issued or unissued. (Prior code § 2-54).
