A. Whenever any city official or employee authorized by this chapter to issue citations discovers any violation of city ordinance as enumerated in Section 2.32.010, or as may be designated by court rule, such official or employee may issue a citation to the person alleged to have committed the violation or owning or occupying the premises upon which the violation is alleged to have been committed and such citation shall be in the form specified in this chapter.
B. Such tag shall be made out in triplicate. One copy thereof shall be issued to the person alleged to have committed the violation; one copy to be filed with the department primarily responsible for the enforcement of the city ordinance alleged to have been violated; and one copy shall be filed with the ordinances violation bureau.
