Chapter 2.28 NED HOUK MEMORIAL PARK BOARD
2.28.020 Composition-Appointment-Quorum-Removal from office.
A. The board shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the mayor,
by and with the consent and approval of a majority of the full city
commission.
B. Members shall serve a term of three years and shall not be
subject to the term limitations of Section 2.20.040.
C. Four members of the
board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business and no more than
one member of the city commission shall be a member of the board.
D. Any
member of the board may be removed from office by the mayor, with the consent of
the city commission after due notice that such member has missed three
consecutive meetings or has been absent at fifty percent of the meetings held
during any twelve month period. In the event of any removal under this section,
the position shall become vacant and shall be filled for the unexpired term of
