We have an outstanding Integrated Mosquito Management Program, however there is no possible way of eliminating “all” the mosquitoes in Clovis & Curry County. You must do your part to protect yourself & your families.
Mosquito Precautions

• Eliminate all sources of standing water on and around your property. Do not over water your lawn or potted plants.

• Keep grass and weeds trimmed to 3-4 inches to prevent harboring of insects.

• Use an insect repellant containing DEET(30% for adults & 10% for children) while outside. Contact a physician before using Insect repellant on children under the age of 2 years.

• Wear light colored (so you readily see when mosquitoes are around) long sleeves shirts and long pants if possible while outdoors.

• Avoid going outdoors at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active.
