Clovis Swim Club is happy to be offering swim lessons at the Clovis Aquatic Center this summer.  Sign ups

start May 1st at the Aquatic Center, 1700 East 7th, 8:30 am-8 pm.  Any questions please call 762-4519.

COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT SCHEDULED FOR 9:00 AM SATURDAY, APRIL 15th

A Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, April 15th at the Guy Leeder Softball Complex located at 1801 E. 14th Street. Age groups for the event are from birth to 11 years of age.

There will be free zoo admission that day from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Easter basket giveaways as well as photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. For more information please contact the City Manager’s office at 575-769-7828.

Candlelight Vigil Scheduled for Monday, March 20th

 

There will be a community wide candlelight vigil on Monday, March 20th at 7:30 p.m.  to honor 33-year-old pilot Capt. Andrew Becker, 29-year-old combat systems officer Capt. Kenneth Dalga, and 26-year-old co-pilot 1st Lt. Frederick Dellecker, the three Cannon Air Force Base airmen  who died last week in a training accident.  The candlelight vigil will be held at 7th Street and Main Street in front of the Curry County Courthouse.

 Local community leaders and area clergy will lead the community candlelight vigil.  The community is encouraged to bring flags and banners/signs with the #CannonStrong.campaign.
