The Personnel Department:
-Advertises and assists in recruiting qualified candidates to fill vacant positions
-Keeps records of all personnel transactions, such as hiring, promotions, transfers, and termination’s
-Investigates all complaints concerning personnel matters and prepares all necessary reports
-Conducts wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate
-Represents the City at personnel-related hearings and investigations
-Develops and implements City personnel rules and regulations
-Plans and carries out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity
-Administers Drug Free Program
