City Seeks Public Input for Infrastructure and Capital Improvment Plan

The City of Clovis will hold two public meetings for public input regarding its Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP) submission to the Department of Finance and Administration. The Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP) assists local governmental entities to plan, fund and develop infrastructure at a pace that sustains their present and future needs. It is revised each year to show major projects the City hopes to accomplish within the next five years.

Projects must fall under the responsibility of local government and not be related to private business and must exceed $15,000 in cost. New Mexico state legislators

use the ICIP in determining funding for municipal projects. Clovis’ ICIP public input meetings will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 10th, 2012 in the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Library, 701 Main Street, Clovis and the other at 5:30 p.m., Monday, September 17th, 2012 at the Lincoln-Jackson Family Center located at 206 Alphon Street, Clovis.

Residents of Clovis are invited to attend and provide input on projects they would like to be considered for inclusion in the ICIP. A copy of the current ICIP may be obtained from the City Manager’s office at 321 N. Connelly Street, Clovis New Mexico.
