CLOVIS CITY COMMISSION APPROVES $1.25 MILLION IN RESIDENTIAL PAVING PROJECTS

At their regular meeting held January 7th, 2016, the Clovis City Commission unanimously approved $1.25 million in paving project funding for various residential streets in the community. The streets and funding approved are as follows:

Concord – Belvoir to Marvin Hass                  $74,448.00

Comer – Duckworth to Circle                         $177,492.00

Plaza – Vohs to Thornton                                $164,304.00

Hockenhull – Manana to Plaza                        $98,766.00

Circle – Duckworth to Circle                          $326,340.00

Vohs – Manana to Alley                                  $215,628.00

Lancaster – Circle to Alley                              $47,250.00

Putnam – Norris to Jeanie                               $190,407.00

“I would like to thank the City of Clovis’ Public Works Committee for their work in identifying those residential areas in critical need of improvement,” advised Clovis Mayor Lansford, Friday. “Addressing our many street paving needs is an ongoing top priority for the Clovis City Commission and this funding will go a long way to addressing some residential streets in critical need of repair.”

Public Works Director Clint Bunch advises these repairs will begin in April/May 2016.
