“I would like to thank all the organizations and individuals who have come to help clean up our community during past clean up days,” advised Clovis City Commissioner Fidel Madrid, Friday. “Trek for Trash is a great opportunity to come together to clean up the entryways and other parts of the city to improve the appearance of our town.”

Trek for Trash is sponsored by the New Mexico Clean and Beautiful program and the City of Clovis. As in previous years, individuals or groups who would like to come and help clean up our community can sign up either before or on the day of the event. If you would like to sign up for the event, please contact City Administration at 769-7828 or Parks & Recreation at 769-7870. All participants will be provided with a t-shirt, gloves and trash bags to help with the cleanup activities around town.
